Pete Behr
Pete has been involved in the commercial real estate finance industry for over 25 years. Originally, he started with Standard Insurance Company in mortgage loan originations in the late 1970's, and worked at Standard in Administration in the early to mid 1980's handling foreclosures, bankruptcies, and REO property management. In 1988, he moved to National Mortgage Co. as Vice president and Loan Officer. Throughout his tenure in the industry, he has been a member of the OMBA/OMLA, has been on the Income Property Committee several times, served as MIRG treasurer for a number of years in the early to mid 1980's, and Treasurer in recent years . Pete graduated from both Oregon State University and Portland State University, holding an Masters' in Business Administration from the latter.
Jim Temple
Jim started in the mortgage lending industry in 1988 as a Loan Officer for HomeStreet Bank (then known as Continental Mortgage Company). He was promoted to Manager and Assistant Vice-President in 1992, and opened their Clackamas Branch where he built a successful sales unit doing construction and residential permanent lending. In 1997 he was promoted to Vice-President and Co-Manager of the state of Oregon, overseeing operations and residential Multifamily lending. For the last 7 years, Jim has held the position of Branch Operations Manager, supervising all processing and funding for HomeStreet Bank. In addition, he has created and manages a small reverse mortgage lending unit.
Jim has been active in the OMLA for many years, serving on various committees. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2005, has been the Chair of the Legislative Committee since 2007 and this year in addition will be assisting with the Pacific Northwest Mortgage Lenders Conference. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 1978 with an Liberal Arts degree.

Amy started her involvement in the commercial real estate finance industry in October 2004 as the Assistant Vice President, Investment Administration for StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC, a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. the holding company of Standard Insurance Company. In her current role she manages the reporting, accounting and servicing associated with their commercial real estate portfolio which exceeds $5 billion. Prior to that she worked for Standard Insurance Company as their Treasury and Financial Services Manager for 4 years. Prior to joining StanCorp, Amy spent six years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP leaving as an Audit Manager. Amy earned a B.S. in Business - Accounting from Montana State University and became an Oregon State CPA while at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Mark joined Standard Insurance Company as a real estate specialist in 1984. In 1996, Mark was elected vice president of StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC, a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. the holding company of Standard Insurance Company. He was appointed vice president and managing director in June of 2004. In this role he leads StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC in their origination of over $1 billion in new commercial real estate loans annually and the management their portfolio of commercial real estate loans exceeding $5 billion. Mark is currently President of the Board of Governors of the Chartered Realty Investor Society. He is a past Chairman of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officer’s Council, and is a former member of Commercial Board of Governors of the MBA. Mark graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Mark was awarded his Master Certified Mortgage Banker designation in October of 2004 from the MBA, and his Chartered Realty Investor and the Counselor of Real Estate designations in 2005.
Share Gilbert
Share began her career in the real estate industry at Ticor Title Insurance in 1985. She was the assistant to escrow officer, Kathy Bork. A few years later she was introduced to sales department and became a Residential Account Manager. In 1991, she was promoted to the first Commercial Account Manager for Ticor. Durning that year was instrumental in helping create the first commercial title & escrow office in Oregon. Currently, in her role as Assistant Vice President of National Accounts, she develops business with local and national mortgage companies, banks, lenders, brokers and helps coordinate commercial transactions. Share has held many offices & positions with OMLA including President in 2005.

Ken has been in the real estate investment industry since 1984. Since joining Norris, Beggs & Simpson in 1993, Ken has originated over $1 billion in finance transactions throughout the Northwest. The completed transactions encompass a variety of property types including industrial, office, retail, multi-family, senior housing, and mobile home parks. He has achieved recognition as the company’s Top Producer and received the Finance Officer of the Year Award multiple times. Ken also received the President’s Award for Distinguished Service from OMLA. Ken is the immediate Past President of the Oregon Mortgage Lender’s Association, a Trustee on the Oregon State University Foundation Board, the OSU Foundation Finance Committee, the State Farm Correspondent Advisory Council, the Woodmen Correspondent Advisory Council and as board member of the OLL Facilities Development Committee. Ken holds his real estate license in Oregon and is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate. He earned his degree from Oregon State University with an emphasis in Finance and Computer Science.
Robert Hefty
After a successful career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Bob joined Mortgage Market, Inc. in 1998 as their CFO. Mortgage Market, Inc. was a top northwest residential real estate lender/broker. In May of 2004, Bob and two of Mortgage Market, Inc.’s senior management team founded Pacific Residential Mortgage, LLC. At Pacific Residential Mortgage, LLC, one of the top residential and commercial real estate lender/brokers in the state, Bob serves as the company’s Senior Vice President and CFO. Bob also serves as a Director for Smart Power, Inc., which is a start-up solar power generation company. Bob graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting and is licensed CPA.
