Pete Behr
Q10/National Mortgage Co.

Pete has been involved in the commercial real estate finance industry for over 25 years. Originally, he started with Standard Insurance Company in mortgage loan originations in the late 1970's, and worked at Standard in Administration in the early to mid 1980's handling foreclosures, bankruptcies, and REO property management. In 1988, he moved to National Mortgage Co. as Vice president and Loan Officer. Throughout his tenure in the industry, he has been a member of the OMBA/OMLA, has been on the Income Property Committee several times, served as MIRG treasurer for a number of years in the early to mid 1980's, and Treasurer in recent years . Pete graduated from both Oregon State University and Portland State University, holding an Masters' in Business Administration from the latter.

Mark joined Standard Insurance Company as a real estate specialist in 1984. In 1996, Mark was elected vice president of StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC, a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. the holding company of Standard Insurance Company. He was appointed vice president and managing director in June of 2004. In this role he leads StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC in their origination of over $1 billion in new commercial real estate loans annually and the management their portfolio of commercial real estate loans exceeding $5 billion. Mark is currently President of the Board of Governors of the Chartered Realty Investor Society. He is a past Chairman of the Life Mortgage and Real Estate Officer’s Council, and is a former member of Commercial Board of Governors of the MBA. Mark graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Mark was awarded his Master Certified Mortgage Banker designation in October of 2004 from the MBA, and his Chartered Realty Investor and the Counselor of Real Estate designations in 2005.


Amy Frazey

Amy started her involvement in the commercial real estate finance industry in October 2004 as the Assistant Vice President, Investment Administration for StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC, a subsidiary of StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. the holding company of Standard Insurance Company. In her current role she manages the reporting, accounting and servicing associated with their commercial real estate portfolio which exceeds $5 billion. Prior to that she worked for Standard Insurance Company as their Treasury and Financial Services Manager for 4 years. Prior to joining StanCorp, Amy spent six years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP leaving as an Audit Manager. Amy earned a B.S. in Business - Accounting from Montana State University and became an Oregon State CPA while at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Jeff Grose
PGP Valuation

Jeff is a Sr. Managing Director with PGP Valuation – a commercial real estate appraisal and consulting firm with offices throughout the US. He has worked in the Portland office of PGP since 1998 providing appraisal services on a wide variety of assets. In recent years his area of practice has focused on industrial and office properties. Jeff graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Economics.


Robert Hefty
Pacific Residential Mortgage

After a successful career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Bob joined Mortgage Market, Inc. in 1998 as their CFO. Mortgage Market, Inc. was a top northwest residential real estate lender/broker. In May of 2004, Bob and two of Mortgage Market, Inc.’s senior management team founded Pacific Residential Mortgage, LLC. At Pacific Residential Mortgage, LLC, one of the top residential and commercial real estate lender/brokers in the state, Bob serves as the company’s Senior Vice President and CFO. Bob also serves as a Director for Smart Power, Inc., which is a start-up solar power generation company. Bob graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting and is licensed CPA.


Mary Linton

Mary began her career in Mortgage Banking in 1983 with Commerce Mortgage a division of US Bank.  Over the years she has remained a Mortgage Banker, working with various Mortgage Bank’s, Key Bank of Oregon, Pacific Republic Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, Action Mortgage and Golf Savings Bank.  Currently as Golf’s Vice President/Regional Manager, she is responsible for 15 Mortgage branches and operations in 3 States, Oregon, Eastern Washington and Idaho.  Mary majored in Business Administration and Accounting at  Lewis and Clark College and Portland State University.

 


Verlee Mason
PMI

Verlee started in the mortgage business at Pioneer National Title in Boise as a Customer Service Representative.  She was offered a position at Western Mortgage where she worked two years as a loan processor.  She later moved to Vancouver Washington and worked for nearly five years as a Wholesale Brokerage Coordinator and as a Retail Marketing Representative at VanFed Mortgage. Verlee has been in her current position with PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. as an Account Manager for 19 years. She has served on the Board and participated on a multitude of committees within OMLA, OAMP and NAPMW.  She is a past chairperson for the PNMLC.


Mike Morey
StanCorp Mortgage Investors

Mike has been in the real estate finance and investment industry since 1992.  He rejoined StanCorp Mortgage Investors in 2010 and is responsible for loan production in the United States.   Prior to rejoining SMI, Mike was at Intervest and was responsible for loan production in Oregon and Washington. Prior to that Mr. Morey spent ten years in the real estate finance division of StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC/Standard Insurance Company in Portland, OR.  During his tenure with StanCorp, Mike helped grow commercial mortgage originations from $400,000,000 to $1.2 billion in 2004.  From 2001-2004, he co-managed the nationwide origination network.  Mr. Morey has extensive experience in arranging debt financing for all types of commercial properties from all types of lending sources.  Mr. Morey graduated from the University of California at Berkeley.
