September 30th: OMLA End of Summer Tour & Social at PSU

Location: Portland State University

Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Learn how a rapidly growing inner-city university (second in enrollment in the state this year) handles its need for space when they have no land grant.

Tour will commence with a presentation followed by a tour of the newly renovated Lincoln Hall (the first building that PSU had). Hosted appetizers and drinks wil be available in the presentation room after the tour.

Speaker: Simon Whang - Assistant Attorney General, State of Oregon,
Department of Justice, Financial Fraud Division

Simon Whang is a native Oregonian. He received his degree from John Hopkins University and his JD from New York University School of Law, graduating in 1999. He began his legal career in New York before moving back to Oregon. Currently he works for the Oregon Department of Justice as Assistant Attorney General handling criminal appeals and currently mortgage/foreclosure fraud investigations/prosecutions in the Mortgage Fraud Task Force.
